How does consignment work?

 

You bring us your freshly laundered, smoke, stain and hole free clothing on hangers and we will sell it for you.  We also accept toys, books, cribs (no drop side), changing tables, bouncy seats, pack 'n plays, exersaucers, highchairs, car seats, bicycles, toddler beds and strollers.

 

Consignment drop offs are accepted Tuesday and Thursday 10am - 3pm and Saturday 9am - 2pm.  If these times do not work with your schedule, please call us and we can set up an appointment time for your drop off.

 

There is a 25 hanger limit (on clothing) per drop off day.  We take clothing up to size 12.  If you do not have hangers, you are welcome to use ours.

 

Consignors receive 40% of the selling price for clothing and toys and 50% for cribs, bassinettes, changing tables and bassinettes (any furniture items). 

 

The consignment period is for 90 days.  All items will be at full price for the first 45 days, then will be reduced to half price for the last 45 days.

 

The payout policy is as follows:  If the balance is $10.00 and under, it may only be used as store credit.  If the balance is between $10.00 and $20.00, cash will be issued.  If the balance is more than $20.00 a check will be issued.  Checks will not be mailed.  Any money not picked up within one year of the last drop off date will be forfeited to Carousel Kids.  it is the consignor's responsibility to check the status of their account.

If a check was issued and that check is lost/misplaced, it is the consignors responsibility to pay the stop payment fee of $35.00
